Anchor text to specific webpages on your site should be descriptive (but concise) as possible in order to benefit from the link. A Google study showed that more than 80% of users search stores and local service providers online before visiting them. This fact makes it important to optimize your website for the local search. The online visit is a basis for more customers and more sales. In the past, commenting on blogs and forums solely for the sake of building links was the norm. The reality, however, is that many blogs and forums have little or no link value. Therefore, building links via this method will do nothing to boosting your website’s ranking. It doesn’t take hundreds to see the needle move, especially with Google’s ever-improving ability to detect low quality and manipulative links.

Choose the broad topics you want to rank for

All sites have a home or "root" page, which is usually the most frequented page on the site and the starting place of navigation for many visitors. Unless your site has only a handful of pages, you should think about how visitors will go from a general page (your root page) to a page containing more specific content. Although Google Plus might be one of the less popular social networks out there, it’s still part of the Google Suite of applications and does play a part in boosting your site’s search visibility. I'll go more into depth below with specific tactics on linking out, but in general, you only have something to gain when you’re linking out. When Google scans your site for information, it no longer pulls out the keyword phrases it thinks are relevant and pairs them to user queries. Instead, there’s an intermediary step. Google interprets the data on your website, and begins to form its own conclusions about what your site and your business really deliver. If that seems a little spooky to you, you aren’t alone — Google is becoming exceptionally sophisticated. f you are familiar with Google’s algorithm, you are aware that it is predicated based off of backlinks. This is simply a hyperlink on an external website that links back to your website. Social media is another traffic acquisition avenue that can be pursued by website owners. Promoting to your social media following is great, but this type of traffic isn’t necessarily new traffic.

Write a keyword-rich introduction

Updating content across a site should be a priority as Google rewards fresher content for certain searches. The page title is one of the most important things that Google and other search engines evaluate to determine what is on a web page. Put your keyword or phrase in the title, and keep it short. On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages. Content repurposing does what content alone fails to do

The old saying that “life is a journey, not a destination” can also be applied to SEO. Structured data, sometimes referred to as schema markup, are codes which are added to websites to provide search engines with in-depth information about your products, your business offering, prices of your products, location-based offerings and much more. You can initiate a productive relationship with market leaders by leaving intelligent, perceptive comments on their content, regularly. Then, you can feature them in one of your blogs or videos and send them an e-mail notifying them about it. In addition, you can also request them to share your content and include a link in their articles. When it comes to search engine optimization, creating a mobile site should be at the core of any solid SEO plan.
