As opposed to general web directories, niche specific directories only accept sites that meet a certain topic criteria. For example, one directory might only accept sites about arts & crafts. Some of these directories are free, while others are paid. Keyword ideas for traffic potential

For many businesses the goal is to get their business to position number 1 on Google, but did you know that there’s a new top spot on Google called position zero. You’ve probably noticed these results but maybe not understood them properly. Position zero is all about using featured snippets to give an informative answer to a user’s query. It’s not uncommon for the results that are further down the first page listings to be featured in position zero. Google offers another tool called Google Website Optimizer that allows you to run experiments to find what on-page changes will produce the best conversion rates with visitors. There’s a difference between desktop SEO and mobile SEO, but the goals are often comparable. You want to reach your audience and turn them into customers. In some ways, desktop SEO tactics also work for mobile SEO, but in a slightly different form. SEOs have a weird way to describe this voting process; they call it “link juice.” If an authoritative site, we’ll say Wikipedia for example, links to you, they’re passing you “link juice.”
