Go through all your pages and look at your titles. Are you making the most of your keywords? And are they as interesting as possible (and suitable)? Each page needs a unique title tag, and tags should be 65 characters or less in length. Ensure the number of new site visitors arriving via organic search is growing, month to month and year over year. Keyword research is the practice of identifying which phrases are used on search engines when people are looking for information, and usually includes finding both the search volume and relative competitiveness of the terms. Make sure that your website is structured in a way that is friendly to search engines. If it’s tough for a search engine to crawl your site and index everything properly, you won’t get the SEO love that you deserve.

Review your links — but don’t stress out

If your target is international try to get links from sites hosted in as many different countries as possible. The same is true if you target local audiences, get as many links from sites hosted in the country you target. A shallow, highly crawlable link structure is critical to getting all of your content indexed—follow good information architecture practices. Once visitors are on your site, an important goal is to keep them on your site. You don’t want your visitors immediately bouncing back to Google once they have read something on your site. Recognizing intent will allow you to improve keyword selection decisions and better serve your target audience.

Create high-quality content on a recurring basis

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the work involved to improve a website and promote it to increase visibility on search engines, which usually translates into an increase in organic visitor traffic relevant to your website. Additionally, it’s the application of using each search engine’s best practices to optimize a site and in doing so, keeping user experience first. Title tags and meta descriptions are on-site HTML elements which reflect the content of your page, and are shown in SERPs and browser tabs as text. Your website must be easy for visitors to use if you want them to stick around at all. That doesn’t mean there can’t be compelling and maybe even controversial content, only that it must be easy to find and access for the visitor who wants to see it. Seek out industry-relevant and locally-relevant links from groups and websites with which you already have an offline relationship.

Using social media for local SEO

While uncovering and fixing technical issues has always been an important part of SEO, in the wake of Panda and Penguin, technical SEO has moved closer to the forefront. But all too often, when we want to improve our site SEO, we fall prey to “quick-fixes”, just as we do when we’re enticed by fad diets. Evergreen topics have long lasting value, so when looking at the trend, it should be pretty consistent throughout the year. Traditionally, these tend to be slightly more competitive, but have a much longer lifespan for being relevant. Gaz Hall, from SEO Hull, had the following to say: "Most businesses understand the importance of — and the general idea behind — search engine optimization, the practice of getting a website URL to appear at the top of a search results page in order to make it easier for customers to find and use a business. But the deeper into the mechanics of SEO you get, the less clear best practices become. "

Simply put, people don’t know what they don’t know

Don’t try to act smart. There are some plugins which allows you to add no follow in external links. If you have applied no follow on the link of your blog, it will be given the priority. You cannot use do follow and no follow simultaneously. This won’t be helpful. Posting regular content is key to building trust with search engines and your customers alike. A posting schedule is easier to stick to when you’re writing regular content. In link analysis, search engines measure who is linking to a site or page and what they are saying about that site/page. Visiting a website and sticking in your credit card details in return for thousands of links remains an option but presents a greater risk than ever before.
